Petra is a goat skin that displays an age-old method of texturing leather, called "Cross Boarding", whereby the skin is folded back on itself and rolled back and forth many times creating a creased effect in one direction and then repeated in the cross direction, creating the final cross effect. Petra is a natural for leather goods, upholstery, accessories, and footwear.
